Please join us for a special happy hour sake event with special guest Keith Norum from Miyasaka Brewing Co., makers of Masumi sake. Keith will talk about the brewery’s 360-year old history, including the discovery of one of the sake world’s most beloved yeasts, Association No.7, by Masumi’s toji (brewmaster) in 1946. We’ll be serving sakes made from this magical microorganism.
Keith Norum provides marketing support and sake education for Masumi clients across the globe. In addition to conducting trainings for restaurant staff and owners, he has presented sake seminars at Vinexpo Bordeaux, Prowein Dusseldorf, Hong Kong’s School of Hotel and Tourism Management, the Japan Sommelier Association, the National University of Singapore and the Culinary Institute of America.
