Uni & Sake at Little River Inn
Every June the Purple Urchin Festival takes place on the Mendocino Coast, where sea urchins and kelp are abundant in the local ecosystem. The weekend event includes a beachside campfire and a tide pool foraging expedition, but the highlight is a five-course uni-centric meal prepared by Little River Inn’s executive chef Marc Dym and sushi chef Frank Takao. World Sake’s Kerry Tamura presides over the sake pairings, amusing guests with banter from the sake world.
